A standard outlet adds about four miles of range an hour — fine for a plug-in hybrid, useless for a daily-driven EV. A dedicated Level 2 circuit charges an empty battery overnight. Before anything gets mounted, we run a load calculation to confirm your panel can carry it, or tell you honestly what an upgrade would cost first.
We install hardwired and plug-in units, indoors and out, and set up load management where two cars share a feed. Everything is permitted and inspected, and the charger is commissioned with your car in the driveway before we leave.

Which charger should I buy?
Bring us the car, not the charger. We'll recommend two or three units that fit your panel and budget — or install the one you already bought if it's right for the job.
Can my panel handle it?
That's the first thing we check. A 40–50A circuit is significant; many 100A homes need load management or a panel upgrade, and we'll show you the math.
Is an outdoor install okay?
Yes — outdoor-rated units on a weatherproof circuit are routine. Cold doesn't bother them; bad wiring does.
